Contact So Loves Vintage

Since launching in May 2009, SoLovesVintage has successfully established itself as the best online vintage boutique offering amazing pieces with impeccable packaging and excellent customer service.

“Helping women realise they can develop their personal style, not only from the high street, but also past decades to express their personality” is the core element of SLV.

The craftsmanship of vintage clothes is unquestionable compared to today’s standards. All the vintage dresses are fully lined and the inside stitching is utterly refined and exquisite. Our items are dry cleaned and you can read our handy care guide of Care, Love and Condition to help you prolong the life of your vintage clothing.

With today’s well known celebrity vintage lovers such as Kate Moss, the Olsen sisters and Dita Von Teese, vintage shopping is becoming less intimidating and more enjoyable for more women. Furthermore we created a vintage blog with posts about past decades, designers and how to mix and match your vintage outfits. You don’t need to be a die-hard vintagista or millionaires to buy from us. If you are not confident enough to wear a vintage dress, try our great selection of vintage jewellery or use our ‘Ask a Stylist’ service and we will do our best to help.

SoLovesVintage monthly Online Vintage Magazine is specially designed to give you an idea of how you can integrate our vintage pieces into an everyday outfit. In a world of copy-cats, mass produced, cheaply made clothes, it is vintage that will set you apart and create the mystery in your personal style.

Finally, we love to hear from other people who are passionate about vintage clothing and accessories so if you want to join our small team as a contributor read our Join Us section.

Happy Shopping

My Story

Dear Vintage Lovers,

Once upon a time while I was looking for a job in Fashion Industry I stumbled upon a business idea that was too good to resist as it combined my two loves: fashion and vintage clothing.

I see vintage dressing as an extension of my personality where it becomes a great journey by taking part of someone else’s past and adding it my present and then taking it into the future. My fascination to hunt for that ‘one piece’ is so strong that the rush of adrenaline is twice that of a bungee jump.

I am a keen vintage lover and have enjoyed wearing vintage dresses from very young age as I always preferred to wear pieces that nobody else but me would own. While I was doing research for my website I realised that there weren’t many vintage shops where, at a glance, you could find a treasure but instead needed to spend hours and hours to source one piece which you could ultimately care for and bring to life again. Furthermore online sites were really old fashioned with poorly displayed items making it difficult see their cut and colour.

My vision is a vintage boutique with hand-picked, beautifully made vintage clothes and accessories that are individual, a unique piece of history that will complement the buyer’s personality and body shape. I source clothes according to my taste, craftsmanship of the item, fabric and wearability. Even though contemporary designers are influenced by past decades, vintage fashion is about individuality and what works for the wearer rather than what comes down the runway.

My aim is to make vintage clothing accessible to more people and to integrate this into everyday life. The trendsetting, vintage-wearing, eco-chic fashionista enjoys mixing modern and old into a refreshing individual style.

As the most influential fashion editor of all times, Diana Vreeland beautifully said: “A new dress doesn't get you anywhere; it's the life you're living in the dress and the sort of life you had lived before, and what you will do in it later.” Let the past echo in the present and also celebrate the future!
